MOVIE:  Wedding Planner, The

NUTSHELL:  Chaste neo-Doris Day Rock Hudson flick with a weird Italian in the Tony Randall role.

GOOD THINGS:  Clothes, J. Lo, Matthew McConnaughey sans nude bongo playing

BAD THINGS:  Wacky assistant, permeating nonspecific blandness

FEATURES:  Judy Greer, Bridgette Wilson, Justin Chambers, Joanna Gleason, Charles Kimbrough, Kevin Pollak, Fred Willard, Kathy Najimy, out of control horse

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS:  Alex Rocco’s pasta commercial escapee Italian accent

NOTABLE:  First meet cute I’ve seen in which the hero saves the heroine from being smashed by a runaway dumpster.

BEST PART:  Movie screening in park. But look who you’re asking.

BEST LINE:  “Everyone, I want to make some toast.” and “You saved my shoe.”

CROWNS:  3 out of 5
