MOVIE: Spy Kids

NUTSHELL: Super fun kids flick in which two kids rescue their former super spy (but currently a little rusty) parents from a bipolar kiddie show host.

GOOD THINGS: Great people, especially Alan Cumming. No bad words, no guns, no sex. Wait. Am I still on Good Things?

BAD THINGS: Antonio’s high heels were distracting. A couple of times the little boy kid bugged me. There will be no living with Robert Rodriguez after this one. Just try to get him to do one job on a movie after this.

FEATURES: Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Cheech Marin, Teri Hatcher, Alan Cumming, Tony Shalhoub, George Clooney, Richard Linklater, Johnny Reno, Danny Trejo, Robert Patrick, Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, breakfast cereal

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS: Those thumbs things. What the hell was that about?

NOTABLE: Features character named Miss Gradenko, Latinos uber alles

BEST PART: Danny Trejo crying.

BEST LINE: Latinos!

CROWNS: 5 out of 5
