The Mexican

MOVIE:  The Mexican

NUTSHELL:  Drafted gangster chooses job over girl, girl chooses Vegas over guy, hitman chooses boys over girls, girl and guy choose love over peace of mind.

GOOD THINGS:  My boyfriend James Gandolfini, outlet maul milieu, flashbacks, cutie pie killer dawg

BAD THINGS:  A lotta blood, a lot of bumbling Brad Pitt wackiness and screechy romantic fights, icky villian played by Bob Balaban (you’d know him if you saw him)

FEATURES:  J.K. Simmons, Gene Hackman, Sherman Augustus, Richard Coca, Lawrence Bender

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS:  The gay postman.  Sorry.  Scene with Men Without Hats “Safety Dance” featured is clearly in violation of the Geneva Convention.

NOTABLE:  No mice, no hunts.

BEST PART:  James Gandolfini being flirty like a fluffy squirrel.

BEST LINE:  Kevlar’s for pussies.

CROWNS:  3 out of 5
