MOVIE:  Keeping the Faith

NUTSHELL:  A freakishly short rabbi breaks up with a freakishly tall shiksa only to discover she’s been taking kaballah classes all along.

GOOD THINGS:  Anne Bancroft, Ed Norton acting

BAD THINGS:  Concern about this “Directed by Ed Norton” business.

FEATURES:  Milos Forman, Eli Wallach, tall blonde clam

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS:  Height disparity between two leads means constant camera funny stuff and weird blocking for scenes.

NOTABLE:  Hugely successful female corporate raider chucks it all for rabbi with anger management problems who hates Jewish women.

BEST PART:  Famous Rabbi trading cards

BEST LINE:  You’re a Catholic, Muslim, Sikh with Jewish in laws?

CROWNS:  3 out of 5
