MOVIE: Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets

NUTSHELL: Another one of those cute Harry Potter things in which someone’s possessed or a spirit comes back or something and the adorable 3 have to remedy things.

GOOD THINGS: Kenneth Branagh, cute kids, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane, ginger family, Alan Rickman

BAD THINGS: Not nearly enough Alan Rickman. Is there ever enough Alan Rickman?

FEATURES: Snakes, moaning schoolgirls, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Jason Isaacs, that little blonde kid who’s not aging too well, Matthew Lewis as Neville Longbottom, Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, more John Cleese in this one, and Miriam Margolyes as Professor Sprout

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS: The elf thing – seriously, I’m freaked out by the elf thing.

NOTABLE: Oh right we knew he could talk to snakes from the first one. Actually I’m more surprised that there’s a term for “can talk to snakes” than surprised he can talk to snakes.

BEST PART: They are precious those little kids. Precious, precious, precious!

BEST LINE: AMAZING! This is just like magic!

CROWNS: 4 out of 5
