MOVIE: Bowling for Columbine

NUTSHELL: Michael Moore’s entertaining, laugh riot investigation into American fear.

GOOD THINGS: Not too hippie or kneejerk anti gun – whew!

BAD THINGS: Newscast montages and miscellaneous Charlton Heston badness, Kmart thing – okay a little out there, bank scene staging?

FEATURES: Charlton Heston, Dick Clark, Canadians, ex-Coloradoans Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Chris Rock, Marilyn Manson, and blood

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS: Weeping school principal

NOTABLE: Make fun of Dick Clark all you want, but if you saw Michael Moore approaching you’d hightail it out of there too.

BEST PART: South Park meets Schoolhouse Rock.

BEST LINE: Thank you for not shooting me.

CROWNS: 5 out of 5
